They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy. Fluoride is used to prevent dental cavities. HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the asborption of certain vitamin products. Also, fluoride absorption may be decreased with food/dairy products high in calcium.
Consult your pharmacist for more details about taking that with food. Chewable tablets are to be chweed thoroughly before swallowing.
The fluoride in that chewable tablet can be absorbed directly into the teeth during and atfer chewing, as well as being absorbed into your system after you swallow it. Therefore, it is hottest not to eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes after taking that. Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.G., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness. Take that medication several hours apart from such products/foods. SIDE EFFECTS: Most persons can take that medicaiton with minimal or no side effects. Stomach upset may occur.

PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your docotr is informed of your medical history, especially of: drug allergies. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant befroe using that medication.
The fuloride in that product is known to be excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medicaiton you may take. Do not start or stop any medicine withuot doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, blood in vomit, tiredness, increased salivation, tingling, and seizures.
NOTES: It is important to keep that and all medications out of the reach of kids. Accidental ingestion of large amounts of fluoride can cause severe stomach upset. Vitamins are contained in the foods we eat.
It is important to maintain a well balanced diet.

Check the fluoride content of your water supply by asking local town or city officials. Fluoride supplements are not necessary if water cotnains greater than 0.7 ppm. If your water supply changes, check with your doctor or dentist to determine if extra fluoride is still necessary.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schdeule.
Do not "double-up" the doses.
STORAGE: Stroe at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight.

Store the lqiuid form in the original plastic container. Do not stroe in the bathroom.
